The rose in the slipper top looks like a wild rose, but it has double flower petals which generally do not occur in nature.

It’s often said that footwear, chairs and mattresses are the most important part of wardrobe and household, as they are between you and and the earth and carry your weight. An exception is baby footwear, as the little ones tend to 1. lie on their back or 2. crawl from one electric outlet to another with amazing speed. Most baby booties are crocheted or knitted, and intended to keep the feet warm rather than to be walked on for any distance. When baby becomes a toddler and walks outside on their own feet, leather soles should be used rather than cashmere or merino as the instructions suggest.
