GIFT BAZAAR SEWING SUGGESTIONS
FUNDRAISING
OUR FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN HAS ENDED! GOAL: 5000 USD AND CURRENTLY AT 104%!
To keep our Library up and running, we hold a fundraising campaign from September to December and I’m happy to say that it reached its goal!
More donations are always welcome 🙂 This is the link to the donation button: Donate to keep the Antique Pattern Library running!
If you can’t afford to donate, but would like to help the Antique Pattern Library, introducing the Library to people who don’t know of it yet, is very useful, since it broadens our user base and therefore also our future donor base. Blogs, Tiktok, Instagram, Pinterest, Ravelry, Facebook, other social media – show others your favorite publications and what you made using them. Our work is only useful when people actually use it!
If that is not possible either, just enjoy our new publications either for inspiration or for your own work!

Gift Bazaars apparently were a popular way to raise money for organizations. Even now there’s the occasional bazaar in our village where handmade things are sold. These small items can be easily sewn and are also suitable as gifts for non-bazaar occasions. Stuffed toys are ever popular, baby bibs will always be necessary, bags are eternally useful, knitting needle cases can also be tool cases, there’s a very useful hanger cover that contains pockets to hold small items, and many other small things. Bridge table covers might not be in common use anymore but if there’s a bridge enthusiast in your circle of acquaintances that’d be a lovely gift too. Sneak into their house with a measuring tape to make sure your table cover is the proper size though, and have an explanation ready for when you’re caught.
